Shooting Locations

Rayleigh Town Archery Club is fortunate to have access to a number of indoor and outdoor shooting facilities in and around the Rayleigh area. All provide safe and comfortable shooting conditions, whatever the weather!

Our outdoor range is at Runwell Sports and Social Club and is available 24hours, year-round.

One of the most scenic archery fields in the country, our range can accommodate shooting distances of up to 100 yards and hundreds of archers. It is a wide, flat field neighbouring football and rugby pitches with views across beautiful local countryside. Access is gated and only permitted to Club members.

Please note: Runwell Sports and Social Club is now part of the new St. Luke’s Park development on the A132 between Wickford and Rettendon: sat nav and satellite mapping has not yet been updated. Refer to the map below.
