RTAC have signed up to test our collective mettle against our neighbouring clubs in two of the ECAA Indoor Leagues and the Perris Archery Junior League over the 2013/2014 season.
All archers are welcome (and encouraged) to join in the fun – the more scores the better, as the top 5 scores from each session constitute our total for each ECAA League match, submitted via post.
The Bray I round (more detail and rules here) is shot at 20yd on a 40cm face. 30 arrows with 10-zone scoring for a maximum score of 300 points. Ian will post the fixture dates as and when they are made available. These will be shot on the 2nd Sunday of each month during the regular sessions at Deanes (2.00pm – 5.00pm).
The Andy Harris round (more detail and rules here) is shot at 15yds on a 40cm face. 36 arrows with 10-zone scoring for a maximum score of 360 points. There are 11 total fixtures between October 2013 and March 2014: scores will be collected on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at the Pope John Paul Hall sessions (Wednesdays 8.00pm – 10.00pm).
Our Juniors also compete in the Perris Archery Junior League which this year has been expanded to the entire SCAS area – 34 teams will be challenging each other for top honours in a number of divisions. Rayleigh ‘B’ Team won last year’s Division 2!
Stay tuned for more information as the indoor season gears up, or contact Ian (email@example.com) for more details.
